Papaya health benefits and serving ideas May 23 2016

With a colour of the sun and the taste of a tropical garden, papayas are rich source of antioxidant nutrients such as carotenes, Vitamin C, flavonoids, B vitamins and minerals like potassium, copper and magnesium. Together they support eyesight, cardiovascular and immune systems; promote digestive health and reduce inflammation and acne. 

You may think of papayas as sweet, but you can enjoy them in savoury dishes as well. From fruit salads and salsas to main courses and desserts, papaya is quite versatile.

1 Lemon

1-2 Tbsp Honey

15gr Coconut flakes
